Critters

Funny Story-

So we made the mistake the other month of putting not only one of our garbage bags just outside the door of our apartment, but 3 of them! Kinda white trash, I know... I blame it on having had a newborn and I suppose no one really wanted to take it to the dumpster. Well I asked Craig to take it down one night and he said, "Oh, it will be okay sitting there one more night." I told him that I disagreed and that a Raccoon would probably get into it, since one had before, but he disagreed and so we went to bed. Well I just HAD to take a peek out our front door the next morning to see who was right and low and behold....

I was right!!! As always:) j/k
It was so gross!
We had everything from dirty diapers to old tortillas torn up.

As a result, this occurred shortly after...I felt bad...but I did warn him!

The assumed culprit.... "Coony" ( I name them all that)

There are just so many critters here in California! It's probably because we live by lots of hills and shrubbery but it isn't unusual for us to see these little trouble makers getting into our garbage and even hissing at us if we get close!! I feel like I have to carry around my pepper spray not to ward off bad guys but to protect myself from the raccoons that hang out around our apartment, I mean, I don't want rabies! We also see skunk families (notice the plural) and one time I even saw a possum walking down the street! RANDOM, yet these critters make life exciting:)

Gotta love the critters.
Raccoons really do look like bandits don't they?
Even though they are such a nuscence(sp) I think they are still cute.

HAHAHAHA that is super funny, but so sad (on Craig's part). We totally know how that goes. For our wedding, the wedding party used whip cream and oreos to decorate our car and when we were up at the cabin on our honey moon we came out one morning to Racoon prints ALL over the car and missing oreos. It is totally scary!

I'm sure the raccoon's weren't too happy either with all those yummy newborn diapers in there:)

I get frustrated some times cuz the trash need to go out, and his solution is to put it in the garage.....well guess who has to take it out in the morning cuz the garage stinks...Mua!!!! I feel ur pain! I love it!!!!!
