Ruthie's Spring Break Adventure

Hey all! Ruthie here:) I know this was a couple weeks ago but I just wanted to document a fun trip I took to Arizona with my parents over Spring Break! It was a whole lot of fun seeing all my family there and we had a party pretty much everyday. Although it's pretty much ALWAYS a party with me around...
So I am just going to warn you now, there are a lot of pictures!

So this is me & my Grandma Freeman on Sunday, the day after we got there, it was so fun to go to church with them. I know it was especially fun for my mom to show me off to her old home ward with me in my sassy white dress!

This is me sporting my shades after church, it is so sunny there! I am looking good. And yes I am wearing a different outfit because I just felt like pooping on my Grandpa and all over my white dress at the end of the sacrament. You know, I just can't help myself sometimes!

This is me and my horse friend who lives behind my parents house! He always comes over to say hello to me when I visit.

So that same day we had my blessing! I looked beautiful in the blessing dress my Aunt Megan made for me. It had sparklies all over it, a matching bonnet and a matching blanket! I looked too cute...oh and my parents looked pretty good too.

My mom made these tasty cupcakes for my blessing as well, they turned out pretty cute.

So on Monday we watched the Suns game on my grandpa's big screen with all my Udall aunts & uncles - it was so fun! I am a die-hard Suns fan already. My mom made me this cute Suns dress before I was born but this was the first AND LAST time I will ever wear it. I think she waited a LITTLE too long to have me wear it because it was SUPER tight...oh well, I gotta support the home team!

This is one of my favorite aunts, Aunt Jen, she absolutely loved to hold me. It was so funny to see her come home from school, go directly to the sink to wash her hands and then I would sit with her while she did her homework or did anything! I miss her a lot. I hope I'm as pretty as her when I get older.

Ok, this picture says it all! Everyone loves me!!

One day, we went to go show me off to everyone at my Grandpa's work, it was ok. It was fun to see my Grandpa so proud but the best part is when he took us to the BBQ Company after. Yum!

On Wednesday we had a Baby Shower for my Aunt Sarah, my mom made cupcakes again for her "garden themed" shower, they turned out okay - my mom sure spent a lot of time on them but it was fun for her. She likes things like that:)

This is my good friend Kyndal, our mom's are friends and we were born pretty close together. She is way cute and I love to visit it with her when we are in Az. We are probably going to be gal pals when we get older.

So I got to see a lot of my mom's friends when I was down. This is Carli Jones, she has always been a good friend of my mom's and is currently playing on the same co-ed softball team as her sister Jen & her Dad! Yep, he still plays! Carli is an awesome girl and very athletic.

Next is my mom's friend Jessica, she did a Dietetic Internship with her and she is a really great friend of my mom's too. They sure went thru a lot together during that year! You can tell I'm super excited to be there...

So these are my mom's besties from high school. It isn't very often that they all get together! They all live in different parts of the country now. They are all wonderful girls and so successful.

Towards the end of the week, the Udalls got together for a big birthday dinner for my Dad and Uncle Blake. This is one of my most favorite things to do, just sit around, eat and talk with all the family. My parents really miss being able to play with my Udall aunts & uncles. They are some of their best friends:)

I love Grandma & Grandpa Udall!! They are the best! You can tell they are really happy to have us grandkids in their life. That is my big cousin Mason next to me, I sure hope he doesn't beat on me when we get older... He's really sweet though so I don't think he will. He's a good example to me of how to walk:)

Lastly, I got to see my Grandma Ruth Strong! I am named after her and just love her. She makes the best rolls, is really good at dominos and is quite sassy & very loving. I hope to be just like her someday!

Well that's about it! I hope you enjoyed my summary of Spring Break - Oh just for your information: I did pretty good in the car on the way there and back too - slept half way, ate, slept some more and I threw some smiles and cooing in there to make my parents happy. Overall, the trip was a success! I can't wait to go back in May!
