I can't believe it! I was accepted to the Maricopa County Department of Public Health!! I just started crying when I found out because I was not planning on getting into this one because it is so competitive - there are only 4 spots and it is the internship that everyone wants it because it offers such a great experience in all areas of dietetics and located in Phoenix. I am just feeling so surprised, extremely excited and so blessed. How wonderful to know the Lord answers prayers and is directing my life. I am going to defer the ASU Grad program one year, so I will still have the opportunity to get my master's afterwards if I want to. Last night, I just kept asking Craig to make sure it really had my name on it. ha

Congratulations Melissa! So how does this internship fit into your career in nutrition? Do you work there for a limited time or do you transision into a regular staff member at some point?
AHH! I can't believe you girls got in that is amazing! I am so proud of you. You and Katlynn will have so much fun together. Hopefully me and Katie can both get into the Paradise Valley internship that would perfect!

Ok- Cycling class was a really good work out, but my rear is killing me right now- I swear if i could see down there it would be black & blue.
I asked them how long it would take for me to get use to the bike seat & they said it only takes a few classes.
P.S. i go to the gym every night usually between the hours of 5:30 & 7:30. So i'll prob run into you again.
