It really was fun though, and we enjoyed every minute of being with our Udall grandparents and with Jonny and Laura. Our main objective was to just entertain the grandparents and spend time with them; especially Grandma Udall since she has lung cancer and has stopped all treatment. She is doing pretty good, she can conduct her own tube feeding, I was very impressed! But she is so tired and weak, I am glad that we were able to just be there with her. It is hard to see her like that because before she has been a hard working, go-getter kind of woman. I am sure she was in a lot more pain or discomfort than she led on during our stay, it just goes to show that she still always thinks about others!

Kind of a scruffy pic of us!
Great-Gma Carpenter (Grandma Udall's mom). This woman will be 100 years old this year!! And she is alive and kickin! She makes her own meals, washes her own clothes, walks, jokes and dresses herself. That is simply amazing to me. She is having a hard time with Grandma being so sick but still is so witty. This morning she had gotten her hair done and I told her she looked nice and she replied " I know and no one has taken my picture all morning!" So I did.

We got Grandpa Udall out of the house and he treated us to yummy Mexican food! We had a fun time talking to him about when he was temple president and President Hinckley called him up! Wow!

Dear Aunt Suzzette lives next door and was so kind to trim Craig's long hair! You know I love my husband with all my heart but when his hair is short I am just 100 x more attracted to him!! Gotta love a clean cut. A big thanks to my aunt! She is so much fun and so genuine too.
Jonny just waiting patiently for his perm to set in while he catches up on Better Homes and Gardens Magazine 1986 edition

So glad you got to go do this! Thatcher is such a special place and I'm glad you took pics of all of it! Grandma loves the visits...and craig does look good with his hair short...my mom is such a sweetie. Looks like a nice break with all of the busy stuff you have going on!
I love visiting family- Especially those who have lived for so long.
Hey hot lady... I had fun seeing you tonight too. I realized that I've been slacking on the whole blog-stalking thing. I need to get back on that! ;) I had no idea everything that's been goin' on for you guys... CONGRATS on the internship! You're brilliant and Ty and I are seriously so impressed with both you and Craig. Smarties! Oh.. and random, but did you guys get new couches? I thought I saw you moving them out or around or something the other day. Do I just need to walk around the corner and visit you? I think so personally... Okay, this comment is turning into an e-mail or long letter of some kind. See what happens when I slack at seeing you!!! Love your guts!
