Obsessions

So I have had a couple obsessions just the past couple weeks! They are kinda funny and fun-

The first one. Hairspray the movie and music! So I am always so outdated and see movies long after they've been out and so I just saw Hairspray! ha I am in love with the music and Emily, my sister, was kind enough to burn them for me. I play them every day and I don't know why but I just love them so much. I think it is hilarious to see John Trevolta as a woman, anyways- it's a fun one.

And I just wanted to let everyone know in answer to a previous post that I ended up buying Breaking Dawn! It was well worth the price and I enjoyed every minute of it. I am glad I did because by the time my mom and 2 sisters were done with it i would probably just be reading it and I wouldn't have time now!

Well, it is the moment I've been waiting for ALL summer - my internship starts this Wednesday!! All I can say is that I am just so glad it is starting so I can finish! I am definitely excited to learn so much, but I haven't appreciated the 40 page "review" study guide they sent and the study guides that we have to finish before each of the 12+ rotations. I feel like I graduated, was free, and now I am back in school again...sometimes to feel like the only one my age in school. It will be wonderful to start a new chapter in our life someday but for now, I will just enjoy another new educational experience!

(To be honest, I think singing the "Smile" song in Primary today reminded me to change my frowny face around and enjoy this next little experience.
Thank goodness for wonderful primary songs!)

Melissa,
Our oldest girl will be 7 this month, she has asked for "Hairspray" the DVD for her birthday - we LOVE that movie! Glad you enjoyed Breaking dawn I got it the day it came out and had it done in 2 days.

We haven't EVER sung the "smile" song in our primary here in Georgia - thanks for the reminder, it was my favorite song when I was growing up! And lastly - enjoy the internship. You are NOT the only one your age in school - it will all be worth it! I'm 33 and I have 5 kids and still have 2 years to go before I finish school!!!

I just saw Hairspray a few months ago and it is so good! I am still waiting for my sister to finish Breaking Dawn...darn. Good luck in your internship!! Way to embrace the educational experience! (By the way, I'll never be free from school as long as I want to keep my teaching certificate current. I have to keep taking classes all the time!)

I still haven't seen Hairspray yet, so you are one step in front of me. I totally want to though.

Good luck on your internship!!!

Melissa,
I LOVE LOVE LOVE hairspray too!!! I have already asked for the soundtrack for my birthday or from i-tunes on my running mix. I think that running to hairspray music seems like all is right in the world! ha ha...I am such a nerd! Just wanted to let you know I am a little obsessed too!
