One Crazy Week

So we had a pretty crazy week a couple weeks ago, so I would like to share it as well as some pictures to go along with it. First it started out with the tradition of going to Oceanside with Craig's family. It was very fun even though most of time I felt like I was traveling and Craig didn't get to stay very long! We had booked the trip for Sat Morn to Monday Morning, but Craigs horrible Physics teacher decided to have ALL the exams on Monday so he had to come home a day early. I felt so bad for him. It was a wonderful trip though - mostly thanks to my mother & father-in-law:)

We found out on the trip that Ashley & Blake are expecting in March 09!! I am sooo excited. The first Udall baby!

Craig will delete this pic when he sees I posted it but I thought it was funny of him posing as a football player. He's just going back to his prime days of playing football in 6th grade with Marc Favereau.

The girls and Doug's wonderful "g-friend/hopefully more soon" Sarah: It was so nice to have her there.

Then I traveled to Prescott for 2 days (alone) for work to chart at a facility there. It was such a fun trip, I must say I wouldn't mind living in Prescott! Loved it.

I got home and me & Craig immediately went on a random date! We got icecream and climbed onto his parent's roof to watch the lightning storm! (so smart) But unfortuneately we ended up seeing no lightning and saying hello to his fit old neighbors who are constantly out and about at night. Fun & random.

Grandma's Funeral

It wasn't until Monday night that we found out that Grandma passed away. It was so nice to be meet up with all the family Friday night for the viewing and funeral the next day. The Funeral was beautiful, more of a celebration of her life with all her children talking about her. Craig & I learned such wonderful things about Grandma that we never knew!! Like she had 5 kids in diapers (cloth diapers mind you) at one time!! wow is all I can say. She also was an amazing artist, I knew she was but it wasn't until I saw all the artwork that I understood how much she painted. This one is my favorite, I want to get a copy of it and put it in my kitchen.

It was so fun to have all the cousins that live far away around! wish we had more time, but then we were off to a Strong Family Reunion!!

We celebrated Grandma & Grandpa Strong at a reunion, they are two amazing grandparents. I sure look up to them.

So then the week finally ended!! I took a Monday off of work to actually clean up the storm that we left our house in for the week and get some things done around the house! It was marvelous.
