I just wanted to post some of our pics from the "Cali Power Trip" we made a few weeks ago when we found our beloved apartment!
Friday: We left in the afternoon, drove straight to some kind relatives house where we bunked for the night.
Saturday: We got up at 8am to look for apartments and didn't get home until 9:30pm the next day!! Yeah it was a long one. But thank goodness Doug & Sarah let us use their GPS system because it SAVED US! We would have never found so many apartments in so little time & navigated ourselves safely through 4 towns. Then we crashed at 11pm.
Sunday: Got up to go to a ward, got there late. Went to a new town to look for apts & founds super expensive ones. We went to one more place and it happened to be the one we went with!! Wow. We were definitely guided. Tried to go to another sacrament and missed it and then we put the papers in and left for home!! We got home about 10:30pm and crashed again!
We are so excited about going to Cali- the weather there is always around 65 degrees but they said it gets up to 90's in August, maybe 100....big whoop! It is lush green everywhere, we are about 20 min from Disneyland, 45 min from the beach and 5 hours from home. We love where we are little home is over there too. There were a lot of more run down neighborhoods but we found a great location. There are jogging paths everywhere, there's a park behind our complex, we are surrounded by nice residential homes and there is a new mall about 5 min away! (I realize that I will hardly ever be able to shop there but that is still fun:)
So all in all, we leave July 18th, it will be a really fun adventure & we welcome any visitors gladly!

Beautiful! I can't wait to come and visit you guys! I am really impressed with all the greenery. The parks and running trails are making me drool a little bit too when combined w/ the 65* weather! Woo-hoo for you guys! Love you!
