So here is most of the month of May! It was such a hectic time between graduating for Craig, end of the year gatherings, birthdays and finishing up things.
I turned 24 this year and I have been dreading it for so long now. I don't know why & no offense to anyone else who is 24 or older but to me it is like a breaking point into true adulthood and I don't like it. I can't complain tho, it was a nice bday & Craig treated me to good food and a shopping date. He let me go wherever I wanted & let me buy whatever! (within a reasonable limit...) But it was just the perfect present for me.
Taylor Swift Concert - it was a lot of fun! And despite the rumors I heard, she as great live singing voice and she put on a really fun show too! At times she catered a little much to 16 year olds and had a lot of rage against boys but overall, it was good. It is so fun playing with my sisters.
Elders Quorum Camp out
Craig was in charge of helping to put together a campout as part of the EQ presidency and it turned out great!! There was a great turn out and we had a lot of fun! It was super cold too, it got about 50 degrees at night and we couldn't have a fire, I was kinda bummed but it turned out great still.
We played Heads up 7-up, you know, the game you played in 6th grade when it was raining outside? It was actually really fun to play!
The Graduate
I am so proud of this guy! He worked so hard at ASU and I am so excited to see all he will accomplish in Podiatry.
Cuatro De Mayo Fiesta
It is so fun to get together with all of the young married kids in our ward so we threw a fiesta before we had a bunch of them move out. It is sad to see people go, there are so many awesome people that we have met.

So sometimes I probably get a little carried away with parties... Craig didn't want to dress up with me so I did all by myself and had a great time as Paco. It was the finishing touch on our fiesta as we had sombreros about, Juanes playing in the background, St. Augustine candles lit and a pinata in the background. Thanks to Dad for the Quatemalan shirt, my uncle for the wonderful red boots & my collection of brown material which provided me amazing facial hair.
What's a Cuatro de Mayo party without a pinata!!? I think it made the party a lot funner for the kids-

Wow, May was a fun month! I didn't realize how many things we actually had going on for the ward, but I loved every one! I think we should definitely have planned more camping trips together as a ward. You cracked me up with your sanitizer wipes/cleaner & popcorn on the grill! Memories were made there that I won't soon forget! Definitely not heads up 7 up! That just cracked me up! Love you girlie!
Hope that you enjoy your summer. Heard you were off to California (I think??) soon. Good luck to you guys. I know that 2010 will be a fantastic year for you and we are excited for you and all the changes headed your way! Let us know if you ever want to get away to the south for a break..... we love company!
So where is Craig going to Podiatry school? Are you guys staying in AZ?
You are such a sport, I love the mustache. And we are neighbors/ish. Congrats to Craig-what an adventure! Good luck-hope to see you guys soon!
So where are you guys going to podiatry school? We are dying to know. Has it been hard to decide? So fun that Craig graduated and your internship is over. Ready to start a new chapter in life I guess. We love you guys!
Melissa!
Hello my long lost friend! I have not forgotten you. Things have been crazy as you could imagine and to top it all off I am taking two summer classes. I know I am nuts. I miss you like crazy and I hope that everything is going well for you. We love it here in Oklahoma! The trees are gorgeous. We have a big backyard, and three bedrooms. That's right my friend, our children no longer have to sleep in odd places. They each have a room. I really hope you are doing well. I love you so much and am sad that we all go our seperate ways. But hopefully we will get to visit you someday in California or something. Sorry I haven't posted. Like you said it is so overwhelming when you get behind. It is much easier for me to just leave a comment. But a new post will be coming soon when I get done with one of my classes.
That was an epic blog. We should hang out soon before you move. I miss my carpool buddy. :(
We are going to miss you guys! You better keep your blog up so we can see all the fun times you are having in California.
Paco, I mean Melissa, you are so stinkin' fun! I am glad that you are done with your internship and congrats to Craig for his acceptance into Podiatry school! And Cali is going to rock!
